Fernie

Fernie, originally from Glasgow, Scotland, has been a figure in the local Scottish electronic music scene since the early 2000s. With a deep-rooted involvement in organizing and performing at events, he has continually contributed to its growth and evolution.

In recent years, Fernie has further honed his sound design through both music production and live DJ sets, leading to performances at events across Europe and beyond. He also collaborates with local deep techno mainstays Repart and Deepbass to promote the Orbits event series, and serves as a podcast curator for the respected Norwegian techno platform Monument.

His discography spans a variety of well-regarded labels, including KVLTO, BAHN·, Informa, and Indefinite Pitch, with more work on the horizon as he continues to push his sonic boundaries.

Fernie is also the founder of Space Textures, a platform dedicated to atmospheric deep techno. The label is steadily expanding, showcasing a growing catalog of high-quality releases.
